Axle/Gears: 3.23 10bolt waiting to explode.
Do it yourself. With the instructions given its almost impossible to screw up. If you have a question, call the tech line, or post it here.
Save the money. Heck, I rebuilt a 700r4 with the Automatic Transmission Service Guide book available at autozone. Only cost me about $20 for the book too.
Shift kit, vette servo, .500" boost valve, and a rebuild kit = $260 shipped, and a weekend of my time.
The shiftkit itself is easy as pie.
