How much HP/TQ will the Zexel Torsen hold?

ok i have done my search but really havent found anything close to answer my question.

I just ordered the zexel torsen unit and going to upgrade to moser 28 spline axles, aluminum stud girdle and weld the axle tubes to my housing, and keep my 3.73's. (Its the stock 10 bolt in case you are wondering). Anyways right now its a one-legger because the clutches are gone in the posi that i had. If i do these upgrades i was curious it the rear-end will be fine on the street with my 383 engine. The shop said it has about 500+HP and Torque. I know with street tires it will just spin them but with some slicks something is bound to break. My driveline and yokes will be upgraded as well. So do you think that this will hold up for a little while until i save up for a complete 12 bolt or 9". I'm getting the parts for cheap so im going to put them on for now. With my stock 10 bolt and 26 axles i can get no traction at all on the street. I at least want to launch forward some, instead of sideways with the one-legger

My recomendation would be to call:
http://www.reiderracing.com/

and ask their tech guys, I deal with them all f the time, although, I will say that Moser is also very reputable.

There is no 'x' power value where it will break. Traction and hard launches will kill most 10 bolts no matter what the guts are. You can make a 19743865hp car last with one if you drive it right. Chances are, with your power numbers, you will kill it sooner than later.

well i heard of some people running et street tires hitting 10's and they just beefed up there rear end. Im looking to put the torsen in with 3.73's, get either Strange or Moser axles, weld the axle housing tubes together more, get a TA rear end girdle, and some little other things. it wont be on the track that much, its just more to take out and have fun on the weekend.
