need more info.

have a dyno graph, how about your trap speeds, is drag racing the cars only use, is gas milage a concern.

I'm running 3.42's currently, BUT my car see's alot of other uses, one of which is auto-x, and shifting to 3rd all the time, sucks for auto-x use. that is one of the reasons i went with 3.42's. Are you limited to just hose two ratio's for some reason?

I don't have a dyno graph and I have yet to go to the track. gas mileage is not a concern.
the reason i asked is becuase lots of people run 3.42 on their lo3s but most never tell what size tire they were running. I'm assuiming they're running stock size which is NOT 27" tall so i figured that if i run a steeper gear like 3.73 it would make up for the extra diameter (1 or 2 inched taller that stock I think).
the engine is stock with a few bolt on and it run pretty strong but it needs more gear than 2.73s!!

If gas milage is not a concern, and it is used mostly for drag racing.

I would go with the 3.73's. With the taller tires, 4.11's might also be a nice option, but you didn't list that in your original post.
