I am not sure of the best, alot of people have different opinions of "The Best", but my boss and all his buddies run ATI converters in their dragsters.

I don't know from experience but I haven't heard much good about them. The only converter I had was a TCI streetfighter in my monte SS. I had good luck w/ that. I'm not sure if that helps.

Do a search for Precision Industries or Vigilante. You'll be amazed at the info. Their site promotes their product rather nicely.

Another vote here for the Vigilante. Hoping to be driving it in the next two weeks if all goes well. One of the best out there. It will cost you though, up over $700 for a new one, at least.

Your best convertors are going to be Yank, Vig, ACT, Edge, Midwest, and Contentinal.

B&M & TCI, IMO like most people who know about convertors are junk. I am speaking of their 11-12 inch high stall convertors, 2400-2800. They are sloppy, ineffecient and generate lots of heat. There's a reason good convertors cost almost twice as much, but believe me from having a sloppy 12 inch convertor and going to a tight 9.5, there's a world of difference, and atleast a .4 tenths gain.
