I want to replace the 2.8 engine in my car for a 305 with non emissions. I have a transmision that came out of an 84 Berlinetta and i want to put it in my 86. Is there something I can get to use this tranny.

 

no one makes an adapter.if the trans is good get a v8 early case and swap the guts.

 

i must have worded the guestion wrong. what i meant to say was, i had a donor car for 86 berl that had a 305 but the only thing worth saveing was the newly rebuilt tranny. Now i just got a 305 thats in a van that is new and rated at 205 horse. I want to put it in my car with none of the emmision, is there anything different that i have to do to use the 700r4. What do I have to do with the computer or do i hook it up and it will still work with out the engine being hooked up? Thanks for the time reading this.
