dude....let me tell you something.....the 2300 bucks i spent on my moser 12 bolt, might be about the best 2300 bucks i've spent on this car (and there was alot of 2300 bucks lol)

i ordered it direct from moser, the build them all to order, as the guy called me while he had it in the jig to ask me what housing ends i wanted, cause i forgot to specify

lo and behold, the thing showed up at the trucking terminal (which is on my street luckily) 6 DAYS!!! after i ordered it

excellent experience.....i got the 12 bolt with 33 spline axles, the heavy duty eaton 33 spline posi, the moser support cover, richmond 4.10 gears, with big ford housing ends

its been in the car almost 3 years now, has a couple hundred passes on sticky tires, and it never makes a peep

Really?? You're the first person I've heard say that. I was considering buying a Moser rear. Is Strange about the same price?

they are all about the same price.

its basically all just "my brand is better than your brand" BS

moser gives you a 10 year axle warranty, that covers them for full replacement if they are broken "due to excessive horsepower"

find another company that does that....they will replace them with the next size up axles, either from 33 to 35 spline or 35 to 40 etc

there are alot more moser rear's running around than strange and currie, and they do alot more sponsorship

im not saying anything is wrong with strange or currie, but moser didn't get to where they are now by building bad rear ends

I just bought a strange 12 bolt from tbyrne motorsports in a group purchase on ls1tech.com.
They let me get the 82-92 width setup with 3.91 gears, 33 spline axles, upgrade chromoly 1350 yoke, and setup for 1449 plus shipping. That's about 325 cheaper than what strange quoted me direct. Also, mine was initially cheaper because I purchased a 33 spline 3 series detroit true trac from randys ring and pinions. It was about 440 with shipping to strange. They'll install it so my rear is complete. They said truck freight to where I work will be around 150.
Moser was wanting 2400 plus shipping for the same setup, but with the TA support cover. Which I'll have to buy seperately since I don't like the one strange offers.
I think the gp has ended, but tbyrne does them frequently.

thats very weird......i paid about 2100 bucks with 33 spline moser axles, the moser support cover, richmond 4.10's, big ford housing ends, with a $500 eaton posi fully assembled.

direct from moser

Tom is a good guy though.....tbyrne is local to here.......should see his suburban run 13.9 on 22" rims
