more 5sp swap help
Was planning on finishing up this t5 swap tonight. I have tryed bleading the system many different ways through searching on here, different ideas, and the way the gm manual describes.
I still have no peddle and my slave down below is not moving as much as the book says it needs.
Please help me on how to trouble shoot this.
I dont have the money to pay the 200 buxs or whatever it is GM wants for a new assy. I bought the parts used many months ago and I'm sure if they had a warranty, its to late now.

I dealt with a similar issue after an Auto to T5 swap before I put my car into storage before winter.
I might have damaged mine by accidently hitting the clutch while bleeding the brakes when the slave cylinder wasn't attached to the trans.
The piston pushed out the white bushing(?) on the front slightly.
There is a roll pin in the plastic hose you can remove and the slave cylinder will detach from the assembly. You can also pull the boot back and look at that for visable damage first.
I got just the slave withlifetime warranty from NAPA for $60 CDN compared to $150 for the whole assembly. Shop around, some other place's I usualy get parts from wanted $200-$300 and didn't offer just the slave.
It had good instructions for bleeding. I used a piece of lumber wedged between the pedal and the seat for this.
I learned to wear safty glasses because brake fluid in the eyes hurts.
I only had to turn the bleed screw three times after doing a gravity bleed for about 5 miniutes.
Bottom line, somethings leaking, you should not be having greif here, it should be 15 minutes and your done
