trans will not downshift

Car: s10 blazer & 5spd iroc

Engine: 4.3 5.0

Transmission: auto spd

trans will not downshift

88 auto iroc orig 305 tpi now 350 tpi will not downshift....this is not a result of swap. Car will upshift fine but just will not downshift when slowing or stopping. Is this a major or minor problem?

could be the TV cable. Just throwin that out there.
