Car: 89 formula
Engine: 305 tbi
Transmission: 700R4
Need help no more
got it figured out -
I am working on trans as I speak
I did the mod on the valve for 4th gear at wot from here

my question
I took car for test drive and it would not shift out of 1st
I was wondering - when I put the valve in, there is about 1/2 inch of play before the spring is depressed - is this normal or does it need to be in constant pressure
