Car: 92 z28, 2 87 irocz's
Engine: 350 tpi, 305 tpi
Transmission: auto, t5
rear end swap

I was wondering if anyone has taken a disk brake rearend and put it into a older pick up. i have a 1982 c10 chevy truck and wanted to make it have disk brakes and was wondering what all the details were to do this

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
The third gen diff is too narrow. Providing it would even fit between the leaf springs, you would need rims with very little backspace to push the wheels back out to where they should be. You would also have to weld on the leaf spring perches and shock mounts onto the third gen axles tubes.

Anything is possible if you're willing to do fabrication work.
