Pinion Leak

I recently replaced my pinion seal, which works great, except now its leaking up through the splines and around the big nut. I tried putting teflon tape on the splines but its still leaking. How do I fix it?

Try using teflon pipe dope instead of tape. Or try some good old rtv goop.

Ok I'll try the teflon paste. Do I get it at the hardware store? Also where can I get a new pinion nut?
