Another Aluminum Driveshaft Question

Another Aluminum Driveshaft Question

I bought an LS1 aluminum driveshaft for my Formula, and I noticed it has some sort of flywheel at the base of the spline shaft. What is that for? BTW, you guys were right, bolted right in and works great! No more highway vibration.

that is probably how it is balanced, I am not positive because i have not seen one like that. That is my educated guess tho, glad to here it works good for you.

It sounds like your talking about the dampener. That's where it's located and it looks like a hockey puck.
