I am currently pulling my new engine out because the thrust bearing went to ****... flexplate was hitting the starter. The TC is a B&M TorqueMaster. When I installed it I put three washers between the converter and the flexplate to eliminate the gap, fearing that the bolts would pull the converter too far away from the pump housing. I imagine that's what screwed everything up, I was trying to follow the B&M instructions the best I could. Has anyone also done this or have a B&M TC and installed w/o washers?? Engine's almost ready to go back in, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
