Engine: 305 is out and BBc is going in

best 700r4 rebuild

whats the strongest tranny rebuild kit was thinking about TCI pro rebuild kit.

Just make sure you get the improved reaction sun shell and roller bearings for the thrust positions, instead of the plastic sleeves. You'll also want to use the thicker steels and lower the number of clutch discs for greatest strength.

i though the more clutch disc the less slip?i might be wrong.

That's generally true, but you need to watch throughput torque. The thinner steels can have a problem transmitting power through their thinner "fingers" at the shell. For most street applications, more discs will provide a more positive shift, but don't try running 450HP through it for long. Since the stack can only be so thick, and you might want to get that last selction ring in there, the thicker steels and plates necessitate a lower disc count. At correct pressures, the clutch will engage, and survive.

damn man you know alot about trannies so which rebuild kit basicly has it all and if there is none then is the tci prosuper kit a good 1?and where can i buy this

we have a master overhaul with the 4l60e gm 5 pinion front and rear carriers,roller reaction tube and beast sun shell ,alto wide band,valve body recalibration kit(shift improver kit)with corvette servo,boost valves,seperator plate ,acc springs,9 clutch 3/4 pack with thick steels,all bushings,washers ,and all frictions and steels for 599.00.
