Swap Questions

Yes, I've done a search on this already and I just want to make sure I have everything correct.
Anyways, I'm going to switching over to a TH350 in my 88 GTA.
Will I need anything else other then the driveshaft and new torque arm.
Will I run into any linkage problems or speedometer problems
It would be nice to know now before i start the install
Thanks

I just completed this swap yesterday. Your best bet is to get the Spohn TH350 conversion kit that comes with the tq arm needed and TH350 crossmember.

As far as problems, you will have no speedo or odometer unless you can find a way to get the electronic speedo to work with the TH350...the 350 only used mechanical speedos. If you find a way to run the electronic speedo, I would like to know.

Make it easy on yourself. Buy the kit, and it installs your 700r4 tailshaft onto the th350. Then you dont have to deal with any speedo issues, and could use the stock tourque arm, if you wanted to. COmes with dipstick tube, dustcover, kickdown cable, output shaft, spacer block, and all the hardware.
