Flywheel To Pressure Plate
Flywheel To Pressure Plate
Building a 406 with a 2 piece rear main seal and internally balanced. Planning on using the stock 10.4" type pressure plate for a third gen T-5 type tranny. It is a centerforce dual friction kit. Basically im replacing the flywheel with one that is made for a 2 piece rear main seal. Wanted to know if this would bolt up to my pressure plate just fine with no problems, already know itll bolt up to the crank.

I dont see why it would not. I had a SPEC 10.4 flywheel and Stage III clutch, and I ordered it to fit my 436 with a 2 piece seal. I was able to set my D/F pressure plate on the SPEC and all was the same. If you buy a 10.4 flywheel, all 10.4 pressure plates would bolt up.

Yep!
Been there and done that myself on my 383 which has the 2 piece RMS. Used a McLeoud flywheel on mine....
