torque converter

hey guys i have a question i need to know what a good torque converter would be for my setup. i'm bnuying a new 700r4 and wondering what stall i should get. my motor is a 350 bored .030 over, lt1 cam, edelbrock performer tbi intake, flowtech headers, flowmaster cat back. and it's a complete fresh rebuild i have like 10,000 miles on the motor. i'm either going with a raptor tranny or a street fighter tranny but if i don't want to spend the money i might just go with a new one from advanced auto or auto zone. thanks let me know.

I just repalced my 700 with a rebuilt one. It's got all the performance goodies. To be honest, I bought it off a friend and I'm not sure what all that is, but it's a LOT more fun than the stocker. Shifts harder and faster, no lagging.

As for the TC, I have a 2200 B&M holeshot TC in mine. It does the job, but for non daily driver, I would've gone a tad higher, and that's with low reving TPI.

Transmission: Still works
Axle/Gears: need 3.73
I would definetly go with a higher stall with that set up. I have a 2800 stall with 350/LT4 hot cam/vortec heads.

You can get away with 2800 with a TBI. I would not go any higher than that. Even lower with a TPI.

Should be noticeable. Make sure to run an trans cooler. Dont rely on the radiator.
