what tranny fluid to use?
just went and picked up my high performance 700r4. it will recieve an ATI converter with roughly a 2800-3000 stall converter. it has all new rebesto clutches and bands, hardend sun shell, transgo shift kit, and some other goodies that i can't remember off the top of my head. what transmission fluid would you recommend? the tranny is supposed to hold 400hp without issues. it will see all of my 330hp on a regular basis.

Probably any brand of Dexron fluid would do just fine, as long as you actually change it and the filter once in a while.

i change my fluids on a regular basis.
what do you think about those Auto Parts Store brand fluids? i have been using it in my stock tranny, and haven't seen a lot of issues, but with they high stall and the shift kit, i didn't know if there was a preferred brand.

Store brand fluid is still made by the same manufacturers as the other stuff, just with a different label on the bottle. Use any brand you want, just don't let it overheat.

As long as your TCC works the stock cooler would be fine in most cases, but as mentioned an auxiliary cooler would be a good idea.

Don't by that B&M Trick Shift garbage. It's plain old Ford Type-F fluid with blue dye in it.
