How do I ID a torque converter?

How do I ID a torque converter?

This has been in the basement for years. I don't even remember where it came from!

I can't see any numbers on it, so how can I ID it?

From the factory they have a rectangular sticker on the flexplate side. If it is gone you cannot tell which one it is.

first digit
B=250C and 350C trans
C=200C, 2004R, pre-1985 700r4
D=1985 and later 700r4
second digit
b=2025
c=2075
e=1654
f=1611
h=1397 brazed impeller
k=1211 brazed impeller
l=1654 brazed impeller

dont need third or fourth digit
