ok i recently found a engine at a great deal. lets say not too many 3rd gens have it.


how much hp can a stock 700r4 hold up with a very good convertor and other small things done to it?


its either that or a built trans (also wheres a good place for a built trans, i have the raptor site, but thats it and i want to compare)


my car will be running close to 450 crank hp. n-a

If you are talking about a unit that is in good shape ( red fluid, & no black black clutch/material in the pan). Then it might last with Trans-Go Performance Shift kit, Corvette servo, larger boost valves, etc., & the "very good torque converter" for awhile. What is this "very good torque converter" ?

eh the engine i was goin to buy and install was a 454 BB but the guy changed his mind and doesnt sell it anymore. eh guess ill just have to stick with puttin a 350 into my car
