Flywheel?
Hello,
Okay I am starting to get my act together with changing my Camaro back to a manual. I am set on using a Gforce kit in my T5 because I don't want to swap in a T56, yes I said it, I DO NOT want to swap in a T56. More work than I want to do. Anyway, my engine uses the old 2 piece style rear seal, its a 1980 350 block. I figured I would use an alumium flywheel because my driving interests are street and road racing. I was looking at a Fidanza flywheel, they make one for my application, but my questions are will the clutch for the later model style crank all work together?
What I want to know is if the off the shelf clutch for an 92 third gen would still work if I am running a flywheel made for the pre-86 2 piece seal block?
Help me out.
PS, here's my projected setup: G-force built T5, alumium flywheel, SPEC stage 2 clutch, and alumium driveshaft. I'll throw a shifter on there two, but that's not an issue right now...
Later,
Ryan
