Bad Shifting

Axle/Gears: 342
Bad Shifting
The car has been sitting for 7 months and finally got it back on the road.
It's a rebuilt 700R4 that when @ 1/3 on the gas it would chirp on the 1-2 shift, and spin the tires @ WOT.
now on the shift it's delayed and none of the above happens.
It's got fluid. I dont' see what could have happened in the time that it sat.
Any ideas?
