racing rebuild kit?

I've got a 383, and the stock tranny is goin'. I can get a stock kit for under $100. But the racing kit is like $220. They say that the regular kit comes with paper clutches, where the racing kit comes with heavier metalic clutches, and a shift kit, and it's more adjustable. Is it worth the extra $$$$? I'm gonna use the car as a weekend car, or whenever, (not as a daily driver). But I am gonna stomp on it, (probably alot).

I have never used the blue clutches. Paper has worked fine for me for many years.
