Engine: none, 350, 2.8
Transmission: none, t-5, 5-speed
gear ratio

does anyone know how to figure gear ratio by tire dia. i have a 3.45 ratio and a 35 in tall tire. i want to try to get the ratio back to 3.45 with those tires. any help would be greatful.

i don't know. but i am going to say about 26 in this question is not f body related but i figured someone might beable to help.

4.65 would be the new ratio. Might want to double check original tire size. Plug into this formula:

35/(old diameter)x3.45=new ratio

thanks. i will check monday and figure out what the origanal dia is. but now i know how to figure the ratio
