700R4 crossmember question

When i was disconnecting everything from the transmission to take it and the engine out, I was unable to completly remove the crossmember. Where the bolt holding it to the (frame) of the car on the drivers side was, a piece of the metal had folded over the bolt making it VERY difficult to get at, and impossible to remove the bolt completly. I tried bending the metal back, but I didnt want to use a torch to heat it up or anything so i was stuck trying to use a screwdriver and a pair of vice grips, which didnt have ANY effect at all. I just undid the other bolt and swung the x/member around to get it out of the way....
With the new engine and tranny, I wanna make sure it goes back together right. Should i worry about this? I dont have any money (owe my parents $$ for stuff i've had to buy) really but what should i do? will this be okay for now? I dont wanna buy an aftermarket one (Cant find any, plus i'm sure theyre no cheap) really but what should i do? Thanks,
-Chris

must of hit one of those darn speedbumps ? if you can get new tranny in and the bolt will tighten up you should be good to go. other wise take your time and work the bolt out. then put it on the bench or vise straighten it out and repaint.
