ok my s10 was a 4cyl 5speed when it left GM now its a 305 th350 i wanna go back to a 5 speed can i use the bellhousing trans and stuff out of my maro or are they different?

They will work, sort of.
The F car shifter is about 6" rearward of where the truck trans locates it. If you can deal with that, it will bolt up and work, otherwise.

so i just have to move the trans hole about 6 inches back? I gotta replace the floor pan anyway so....

Pretty much, yeah.
You might want to check and see if that makes it come out underneath the front seat, in its full range of adjustment, before you just assume that it's all good; and that you can get a shifter that will locate the **** somewhere on the correct planet, so you can actually drive it.
