Posi Install Guide

This is the guide I am using for installing my posi.
It seems very useful, however is it missing anything?

yeah he left out all the important stuff and told you what you should be able to figure out or find in your manual.

Well I know he has it relatively basic, so what is he missing, I've done searches.

back lash and contact pattern would be two biggies. he should also mention the original shims don't have to go back in, or in the original place, however the total shim thickness can not be changed, the arrangement can. since he left out a couple major points i wonder if he did what he said, and nothing more, how long it lasted

I didn't think backlash or contact pattern changed when you just removed the carrier and ring gear. I thought those only changed when you messed with the pinion. I guess I'm wrong.

well, backlash is what is most likely to change. pattern (some, depends on just how far the carrier moved the ring gear) I bet the simple swap will be real close but, in these rears close is not enough you need to be dead nuts on. I know I have done it so many times I know what works and does not.
