Pilot Bushing or Synchro?

When I try to shift into third it grinds, unless I'm stopped. I can shift into all others just fine. I've heard from some people it's probably the synchro or that it might be the pilot bushing too. Can any one give some more insight into my problem?

Definetly sounds like a Synchro to me since you are only having the issue with 1 gear.

more than likely a synchro. i cant downshift to third from 4th, 5th or neutral. i can shift to third from second or if i need to downshift i have to fake like im going to second then hit third. when i did the clutch last fall i replaced the pilot bushing (i didnt go roller but o well) and it was pretty wallowed out but even with the new bushing there was no difference.
