T5 wont downshift to any gear but 1 or 2

T5 wont downshift to any gear but 1 or 2
It'll upshift perfect, but when i downshift i have to put the shifter into 2nd or 1st and then to whatever gear i want, it wont go directly. Any ideas on what the hell might be wrong?

mine wont down shift into third, only if i reach for second then go to third. Synchros I guess, that's what I've told anyways.

If you find out exactly whats wrong I'd like to know because I have the same problem you do. My guess for now is that the synchros are bad/worn/whatever. I'm able to double clutch it to get into 4th from 5th.
