86 vette T700R4 trans fit into 86 Camaro
86 vette T700R4 trans fit into 86 Camaro
There is a guy selling a T700R4 that he had build about 10,000 miles ago. He has pulled it out of his 86 Corvette. I have an 86 Camaro, so will the trans directly bolt in or are there differences?

The Corvette 700R4 has a shorter output shaft and a different tailshaft housing. You'd have to change those items to use it.

If the trans started out life in a corvette, it positively cannot be used. The vette case is unique. Because the vette trans has no mount, the tailshaft has the mounting provisions for a huge rigid torque beam. This connects the fixed rear to the trans and supports it. Due to this fact the case does not have the holes, or even the bosses, to mount up a trans mount. If the trans started life in any other vehicle, the holes will be there. Check this before you dive in.
