Peg leg to Posi in a Camaro RS

Peg leg to Posi in a Camaro RS
Hey All,
My buddy just bought a 1987 Chevy Camaro RS with the 305 TBI and it has the 2.73 Peg Leg rear end in it. He really wants to go posi but doesn't want a higher gear ratio. We both were wondering what could be done to put posi in. He asked me to look on ebay for Posi units however they are asking things like Spline and something about a 7.5" 8.5"....
What do you need to convert these cars to a posi? I told him to do what I did and hunt around for another rear end from a junk yard however he wants to rebuild the rearend with the parts. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
