10 Bolt
I finally got a 10 bolt from an 87 GTA, but before i go out and spend money, i had a couple of questions. Since the 10 bolt that i got is drums not disc and my 9 bolt in my IROC is disc, can i swap the brakes? If so what kind of parts would i need(bearings, ect)? I looked in some posts and didnt find any answers

Not sure about the Disk swapp.
I had the same issue with finding the numbers on my 10 bolt.
It had so much dirt & oil cake on it I couldn't find any numbers.
But after I sandblasted it, all the numbers were there. They were on the bottom of the pumkin.

I've heard of aftermarket brakets for bolting up disk brakes on a drum rear. Never seen them in person.
The numbers are usually on the pass side axle right around the middle facing foreward. Can be hard to see without cleaning it up. Can be hard to see even after cleaning it up.

All the threads I've read said the 9 bolt was stronger. I've never owned one, so I don't know personaly. Do a search, I'll bet you'll find many threads about the 9 bolt.

Yeah i heard Borg Warner rear ends are stronger, but i wanted 3.42's for my IROC, and since my 9 bolt is in its last days, might as well replace it. Lucky for me i got the rear end for 20 bucks
