What exactly is a Corvette cirvo?

What does it do over a run of the mill 700r4 cirvo? I have a rebuilt 700r4 with a corvette cirvo( supposebly). Every time somone has a rebuilt 700r4 it has a Corvette cirvo. Also what does the corvette stal at and the tpi Irocs and trans-ams?
Thanks Randy

The Corvette servo firms up the 1-2 and the 2-3 upshifts. I can't say anything about the stock stall speed of Corvette 700R's versus F-body ones. There's probably little difference.

The guy must of picked up the wrong servo then because I dont hardly feel my trans shift. BORING
Are the servos hard to change, and about how much are they?

oops my mistake! I pulled out and gave it full throttle at about 20 miles an hr and it got rubber in second, not as hard as a shift kit or anything but it got a little rubber. When I drive it normaly it shifts smooth. Does this sound like maybe I do have a Corvette cervo in my tranny?
Thanks Randy

The vette servo has more surface area for a more firm apply. It is a nice addition to an f-body trans. It is not something that usually gives major seat of the pants. They are extremely inexpensive and often installed by most trans builders. They also make some billet servors that are more expensive. They are not used too much in street applications.
