Clutch Noise

When I fully depress my clutch and Rev the engine rev's up perfectly fine but then on the way back down it makes a grinding/whirring noise that doesnt stop until I put the car into neutral. This happens in any and every gear except for neutral and only with the clutch depressed, when in gear I have no problems. Does anyone know anything about this or what can be done?

Yeah I got a similar thing going, and I think its just a bad clutch. Like bad pressure plate, rivet that came loose and is screeching on the flywheel. I was kinda wondering the same thing.
