new trans problems

okay, just put in a new trans after blowin my old one, pan in the old one had no magnet and i want to pump the resevoir in the radiator, which line is the return line on the 700 r4, the top or bottom? i can trace it back to the radiator from there.thanks

The top line at the trans on a 700r4, 4L60E is the return line.

The top line on the trans also connects to the top line on the rad.

thanks, forgot to check back here and ended up guessing, got it right, but my fitting for purging it then exploded and i blew 2 and a half quarts of ATF all over the passenger inside/outside of my car. fun fun,. but i took the car down the road and its great, needs new gas but much appreciated.
