10 bolt vs. 12 bolt rear

Car: Dirt Street Stock oval track 2bbl
Engine: 350 w/dart iron heads and 383 w/world products sportsman II heads
Transmission: saginaw
10 bolt vs. 12 bolt rear

What can you guys tell me about the 10 or 12 bolt GM rear ends? Is the 12 bolt that much better? Does it handle abuse better or is the 9 inch Ford better than either? The application is dirt circle track and the c clips bust on the 10 bolts, I've never had a 12 bolt apart to see how they are put together.

Transmission: T5 untill it blows up from to much torque
Axle/Gears: Ford 9" /w auburn pro & 3.89's
12bolt > 10bolt
