Rear end adjustment
I just installed an new LS1 rear end and now notice that the wheel sticks out about 1-1.5" farther on the passenger side. Yes it probably was like this before the swap and yes my springs are probably sagging although they did appear to look okay. I know I'll probably be told to get myself and adjustable pan hard bar, but I am curious as to what type of strain this puts onto the LCA's? Any information is appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks,

Yeah they are going to stick out because the offsets are different for those 4th gen rears. This is why us who run z06's (which bolt directly up to a 4th gen) will run the 4th gen rear in the back cause then the wheels dont stick out. Is this your problem?

Yup, 1.5" per side. The rear is 3" wider than a 3rd gen. The offset was changed on the wheels to compensate. Run 4th gen wheels or wheels with 4th gen offset.

No, I realize the rear end is wider and the wheels will stick out father than before. The issue is that they don't stick out evenly on both sides. The tire seems stick out farther on the pass. side. Any ideas. It is about 1 full inch off center. Any ideas?
Thanks guys,
