hydraulic clutch mod!!!

I just read an article on drilling out the restrictor in the f body hydraulic clutch. It apparently seriously helps slippage when shifting hard through the gears. Can someong give some better instructios on this or maybe pics please??

I would do a search on camaroz28.com on this, I used to have a link but not anymore, you'll find it there though.

This mod is pretty easy to do though, just hammer out the roll pin on the slave with a small punch or even a nail, Then I think I used a 1/8" drill bit to drill out the restrictor in the line comming to the slave, its right at the end where the fitting is. Make sure you blead the system before you put it back!

This only applies to the LS1 hydraulics. Earlier units did not use the restrictor.

This also applies to the LT1 93-97 clutch system, hell you can even do it to the T-5 clutch system if you wanted to. The only problem is you can only do it to one side of the line going to the slave and not to the one going to the master since the master has a 90* fitting on it, still opening up that one side still helps.
