lock up question
i recently converted to carb and was looking for a quick way to have my trans lock up so i installed a switch.
now it seems to be with the switch off and i come to a light the car will bog down to about 500 rpm then come back up to normal but with the switch on it does not do that.
am i right to assume that power on to the switch locks it up or is t the other way around killing power to the switch lockes it up?

If you hooked it up according to the tech article, putting the switch to "on" actually grounds the circuit to complete the path, thereby locking the torque converter.
The power goes through the brake light switch, so with the brake on the power to the lock-up solenoid should be cut, even if your new switch is "on".
How exactly did you wire this up?
