3-4 clutch pack clearance on Transgo kit?

I installed new clutches, steels and a Transgo kit in my 92 4L60 a few months ago. Lately it has been shifting into 3 while the 2nd band is still applied and vise versa. It's known as the 2-3 clunk/snap/bang problem on these boards. Rbob documented this problem real well with some possible fixes.

I've been told by Probuilt that it might do this because the 3-4 clutches are too close together (not enough clearance) or the 2nd release hole is too small.

I set my 3-4 clutches at about 0.035" PER the Transgo high rev spring installation instructions. Could this value be too low?
Most Transgo customers don't even mess with the clutch packs since they aren't rebuilding so it probably stays at factory spec which is about 0.080. This is why I'm wondering if I have set the 3-4 clutch pack WAY too close.

Does anyone have any feedback on their 3/4 clutch clearances? What works, what makes the 2-3 flare or what binds the tranny.

Thanks.

In 700R4's I set the 3-4 clutch clearance to .045" - .055", along with the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit, & Corvette servo, etc. In a 4L60E, I set the 3-4 clutch clearance to .028" - .035", along with the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit, & Corvette servo, etc.

Ok so right now I'm at 0.035 now and there's still a 2-3 and 3-2 clunk (tranny still binding).

I got the thinner pressure plate from GM but the clearance would be about 0.060 if I put that thing in. Would that be ok and not cause any 2-3 shifting flare?

I have the high rev spring kit installed too from Transgo.

Do you have the Corvette servo? If you do, .060" should be ok. Do the is first before you decide to make any valve body seperator plate modifications. Let me know?

Yeah I believe it is the Corvette servo. It came with the Transgo kit.
