Rebuilding rear end website...

I had found a really nice site online, of rebuilding a stupid GM rear end.

Of course, I lost it.

Anyone got any good links to rebuilding a 10 bolt rear end?

Any comments on the site?

Also, with new everything (well, slightly used gears) what should I be shooting for, backlash wise? 6-10 thousandths ok?

That's the best step-by-step axle rebuild website that I have seen on the web. I'll definitely bookmark it. Thanks for the link.

Now I finally understand the pinion depth and backlash. Maybe I will rebuild that 3.23 rear disc 10-bolt that is sitting in my shed.

Yeah, I'm going to tackle mine, myself.

Need to look up more info on the solid pinion spacer, though!

I know the positive aspects of using one, but what are the downsides?
