Speedo Gears... T10 vs T5?

Car: '83 Z28, '07 Charger SRT8
Engine: 454ci, 6.1 Hemi
Transmission: TH350, A5
Axle/Gears: 2.73 posi, 3.06 posi
Speedo Gears... T10 vs T5?
I have a question...
I'm getting ready to install a ST10 into my car that came out of a '82 Trans Am. All I need is the torque arm, then it will go in.
Anyways...
The car it came out of (the TA) had 3.23 gears in it, and my Z28 has 3.73 gears in it. I need to swap the speedo gear out of the T10 to have it read right with the different gears in my car.
Now... Can I take the speedo gear out of my T5 and use it in the T10? Or are they different?

Lets hope the 2 have the same drive gear. 
I'm fairly sure that this swap will work. It's 5 minutes of work to check, so let us know.

I know I've never heard of anyone else on the board doing a T-10 swap, but it should be better than any stock T-5, that's fer sure! Good luck with it!
