What ratio did GM sell the Dana rear with? Just saw one of these and wondering what would be in it.

I believe they came with 3.54s already installed, but there were a number of ratios available in the GMPP catalog, as well as from other vendors. The only way to know what it has is to look.

not to steal the thread but from what i ve learned from off roading dana 44s need alot of work to make them strong? so i m a little confused

When I bought mine from A.J Foyt Chevrolet (way back in the 80's) there were 3 ratios available

3.31 What I got
3.96 IIRC
4.11

BTW I paid $900.00 for it and it came with the rear disks complete (calipers rotors the whole thing).
