Do I need to recalibrate speedo for rear swap?
I have '91 2.73 posi in the car and I'm swapping to a 3.42 posi (89 car). Do I need to swap speedo gears? Where do I get them and which one do I need?
What will happen if I don't get a speedo recalibration gear, will it make the car undriveable and add "ghost" miles?
Is it easy to change out, like can I do it after the install sometime, or does it have to be during the rear swap?
Ok, no more questions.
Thanks.

i thought the 91's had electronic sensor instead of the speedo gears.... but someone will chime in hear and correct that.
if not, go here

i bought my speedo gears from here and used a 39/15 combo for 3.27's. they reccommend a 45/18 setup but that requires you to buy a whole new housing for the 45 gear.
for 3.42's they suggest a 45/17 combo but your gonna have to buy the housing for 45 gear
