So I am on the phone with Dana I think (I never actually got a name). I am giving him my info to order the steet/strip 700 and I told him I have a B&M 2400 stall converter. He told me he can't warranty his trans at all if I use a B&M or TCI converter. He wanted me to buy the 550$ edge 10" converter, but I already bought and have used the B&M converter for 6 months with no problems, I don't have 600$ to drop for a 2nd converter in 6 months.

Everyone says Dana's 700's are the best, I have yet to hear anything bad against him. But someone in PA, not Dana will be building it which concerns me, plus the fact that if somehow the builder messes something up and the trans fails the day I install it, I am out 1500$ even if it's not my fault.

What should I do? Go with a lesser shop that has a standard 1 year warranty?
