t56 to a carbed 350

Anyone got any detailed instructions anywhere on the web?

Axle/Gears: 97 rear 3.43's posi
That's what I'm running. It's a direct swap still. Nothing major unless you have a 2 piece rear main like I do then you will need A Centerforce conversion flywheel part number 27107 through Summit for about 350.00 It is specifically designed for this application (93-97 T56 to bolt to a 2 pc rear main style block, pre 86) If you have an LS1 T 56 (98 or newer), It may be a bit different. Of course there's the trans mount. Mine came with my T 56 kit and was made by Spohn. It's a great piece.

i have a 86 ta with carbed 350 as well. the t5 wont hold up for long. people seem to think it will be okay with normal driving but iv been through 2 while driving like my grandma. check this out http://www.skulte.com/T56.html
