speedo cable problem

speedo cable problem
Im putting the finishing touches on my car after the engine swap, and i noticed that my speedomter wireds dont have a hook up on the tranny I have. I had an 86, while the tranny I have now is an 84. Pretty sure its cable driven. How, if its possible, could I switch back to a cable driven speedo, of switch my tranny to electronic? Hopefully the second becuse it seems easier. Thanks, any help will get me back on the road to driving again.
