You need to do something about that v6 first

Axle/Gears: open 3.42, posi 3.42
and you need to shut your mouth.

seems like a lot of $$$ to spend on traction, especially on a 10-bolt. granted you wont be breaking that 10bolt without a power adder, but still . . .

if you've got the cash i say go for it, posi is far better than the open im running, im just a frugal bastard, so it probably wouldnt be on my list of things to do. just make sure you have enough torque so that when you hook it doesnt just bog down your engine. ive heard of that happening to a couple 6'ers and L03's(they either spin on the line or the engine bogs down off the line, giving them approx. the same 60'). just a heads up, i dont know what mods your running.
