Number of Axle Splines?

How many splines are there on an axle from a 2.77 Borg-Warner rear end?

I need a replacement axle but I'm having a hard time tracking down axles by make; they're all by spline numbers.

Thanks

All the BW 9 bolt axles are 28 spline. The only axles that will fit will be from another 9 bolt diff. A 10 bolt 28 spline axle will not fit.

Exactly what I needed; thanks!

Looks like I'm in for quite a search, eh? If anyone has any tips on where to go for this (esp. in the D/FW, TX area), I'd appreciate it. Hopefully I don't end up having to buy a whole rearend just for this...
