Hey guys/gals,
I have a 700R4 backing up my 383 making 450 hp I have in my truck. Right now I have a B&M shift kit and corvette servo modified in the tranny. I know these things are only supposed to take about 300 hp but with the shift kit and servo mods that helps me a little bit. My quesitons are this:
1)My shifts right now are at 4000rpms for some reason in every gear and I need 5200-5500rpm shift points instead. I know I need a governor. Is it hard to do and does anybody know the setup I need?
2)I want to put a stall in there and I was thinking about the TCI Breakaway converter, does anybody else have another good option? I was wanting a lock-up converter with about a 2400 stall.
3)How do I make my 700R4 bullet proof for the most part? What else can be done to make it stronger without going into the gears/clutches of the tranny?
